One set of instructions said to run the coax cable from the wall to the tuning adapter. Thanks for sharing the experience, good tips in there. I checked and rechecked my connections between the Prime and the tuning adapter, and all is as it should be.
The other instructions showed a 2-way splitter attached to the coax from the wall. Some are much better at it than others. In the meantime, I noticed that the Motorola tuning adapter’s amber light was flashing all the while.

In both configurations a usb cable has to be run from the tuning adapter to the HDHomerun. Only needed if your cable provider uses switched video.
